Silverin 400 합금은 니켈 최소 63%, 구리 28~34% 수준 합금입니다.
DIN 17743, 2.4360, NiCu30Fe, ASTM B163 Alloy 400 과 대응됩니다.

Silverin 400 재질은 미국 연방 규격 QQ-N-281, Ni-Cu 합금 재료이면서
Bar, Rod, Plate, Sheet, Strip 형상을 가지는 재료와 비교됩니다.

Silverin 400 합금은 QT 열처리로 강도를 높일 수 없고, 냉간 가공으로 강도를 높일 수 있으며,
다양한 부식 물질에 우수한 내식성이고, 특히 해양 환경과  화학 산업 용도로 쓰입니다.

Silverin 400 니켈-동 합금은 Ni-Cu 이원합금 (binary nickel : 二元合金)이고
염화물로 인해 발생하는 응력 부식에 저항성 재료이며, 비중 8.80 g/㎤ 입니다.

Annealed 조건에서는 항복강도 180 MPa minimum 이지만, Half Hard 조건에서는
300 MPa, Hard 조건에서는 최소 항복강도 650 MPa 수준의 고강도입니다.

※ Full- Hard (경질 : 硬質)

냉간 압연 강판 및 강대의 조질 구분의 하나로, 어닐링 후 가공성을 목적으로
경질 조정을 목적으로 한, 냉간 압연으로 얻게 되는 성질로, 경도, 인장강도,
등의 구분에 따라 1/8경질, 1/4 경질, 1/2 경질, 경질로 구분합니다.

※ Stress corrosion (응력 부식 : 應力腐蝕)
부식과 인장 응력 또는 잔류 응력, 그리고 부식성 환경으로 인해
금속의 변형과 함께 발생하는 부식을 말합니다.
금속 표면에 거의 부식이 없지만 미세한 균열들이 금속
내부로 퍼짐에 따라 (전파에 따라), 설계 강도보다 훨씬 낮은
응력에서도 금속 파괴가 일어날 수 있습니다.
