AMS 6265 규정 강재는 프리미엄 항공기 강재로, 진공 소모 전극
재용해 방법으로 생산해, 강재의 청정성을 높이므로 인해

강재의 인성을 높인, 환봉, 단조재, 기계 구조용 튜브 형상을 가지는
강재에 대한 규정으로 SAE 9310/AISI 9310 강재에 대응하는 재료입니다.

AMS 6265 재질의 화학 조성은 ASTM A322-9310 과도 대응됩니다.
낮은 탄소 함량, 니켈 합금으로 인성을, 크롬과 몰리브덴 합금으로

QT 열처리성이 높고, 강재의 내부는 강도와 인성, 연성이지만, 표면은
침탄으로 경화 처리하는 표면 경화강으로 적합한 재질입니다.

AMS 6265 강재는 열처리 조건에 따라 기계적 성질이 다르지만, 심부경도
331~375BHN, 인장강도 1070~1290 MPa, 항복강도 900~1070 MPa 입니다.

침탄 경화 처리시 60~62 HRC 수준의 고경도 재료가 되어, 항공기의
엔진 기어, 샤프트, 피니온, 피스톤 핀, boring bar 용도로 쓰입니다.

Premium Aircraft Quality Steel is the ultimate quality that can currently be obtained in
production quantities and is usually applied to the most critical parts and components.
Steel conformed to this quality level is produced by the consumable electrode vacuum
arc remelting technique. AMS 2300 defines this quality and outlines testing requirements
Steels described herein which meet this quality are designated by the letters VAR
(Vacuum Arc Remelts) or CEVM (Consumable Electrode Vacuum Melted)

※ Toughness (인성 : 靭性)
The degree of difficulty in occurring impact breaking
because of the material’s toughness.
질기고 세며, 충격 파괴를 일으키기 어려운지, 어떤지의 정도를 말합니다.
충격에 파괴됨이 없이 충격을 흡수하는 능력으로, 인성이 낮은 강재는
깨지기 쉽고, 높은 인성 재료는 보통 연성도 높습니다.

※ Ductility (연성 : 延性)
The property of metals that enables them to be mechanically deformed
when cold, without fracture. In steel, ductility is usually measured by
elongation and reduction area is determined in a tensile test.

금속에 인장력을 줘 소성 변형을 일으켰을 때, 끊어짐이 없이 선 (line)상으로
늘릴 수 있는 성질을 연성이라고 하고, 연성은 인장시험에서
연신율 (Elongation), 단면 수축율 (Reduction area; RA)로 측정합니다.
물질이 파괴되지 않고 유연하게 변할 수 있는 능력입니다.
쉽게 말해 물질이 파괴되지 않고 유연하게 변형할 수 있는 능력입니다.
