Molybdenum 을 합금 했지만, 저합금강입니다.

AISI 강재 분류에서 43××, 47×× 번호는
Ni-Cr-Mo 합금강재를 의미합니다.

AISI 43××는 Ni : 1.82, Cr : 0.50~0.80, Mo : 0.25% nominal 수준의 합금강을,
AISI 47××는 Ni : 1.05, Cr : 0.45, Mo : 0.20~0.35% nominal 수준의 합금강을 말합니다.

Nickel : 강인성을,
Chromium : 담금질성을

Molybdenum 을 1% 이하로 합금 해,
담금질성을 더욱 향상 시킨 강재입니다.

AISI 4340 는 , Quenching and Tempering 열처리 해서 사용하는 것이 대부분이며
QT 열처리시에, 인장강도 1000 MPa에 이릅니다.
