SA179, A179 는, 탄소강 Tube로
열 교환기와 콘덴서용 저탄소, 냉간 인발 재료입니다.

외경 3.2~76.2 mm 까지 규정입니다.
SA179, A179 는, 열 전달을 목적으로 하는 Tube로

내식성은 일반 탄소강 수준입니다.
내식성이 요구되는 경우는 다른 재질 검토가 필요합니다.

항복강도 (yield strength) 180 MPa
인장강도 (tensile strength) 325 MPa 수준으로

강도가 높지 않은 냉간 인발 Tube 재료입니다.
냉간 인발 후 650℃ 이상에서 열처리 있습니다.

저탄소강재로 탄소량을 기계 구조용강과 비교하면
S10C 수준의 탄소량 강재입니다.

SA179 는, 냉간 인발 규정이고, A214 는 ERW 용접 튜브 규정으로
화학 원소의 함량과 경도 기준은 동일합니다.

소재를 잡아 당겨, 다이를 통과시키면서 단면적이나 크기를
줄여 나가거나, 금속을 경화 시키기도 하는 방법.

※ Carbon Steel – AISI
Generally speaking carbon steels contain up to 2% total alloying
elements, and can be subdivided into as following categories
Low-carbon steels, which contain up to 0.30% C
Medium-carbon steels, which contain 0.30% to 0.60% C
High-carbon steels, which contain 0.60% to 1.00% C.

※ Carbon Steel (炭素鋼 : 탄소강)
Steel made by alloy iron and carbon of which carbon content
is generally within a range from 0.02% to 2%.
Further,  a small amount of silicon, manganese, phosphorus,
sulfur, etc. are usually contained.
For convenience, carbon steel may be sometimes classified as
according to the carbon content or hardness (including strength).
Classification by carbon content : Low carbon steels,
medium carbon steels and high carbon steels.
Classification by hardness : Extra mild steel,
mild steel and hard steel.

철과 탄소의 합금으로 탄소 함유량이 보통 0.02~약 2% 범위의 강
또한 소량의 규소, 망간, 인, 유황 등을 함유하는 것이 보통입니다.
편의상, 탄소 함유량 또는 경도(강도도 포함)에 따라서 탄소강은
다시 다음과 같이 분류됩니다.
탄소 함유량에 따라 분류하는 경우 : 저탄소강, 중탄소강, 고탄소강
경도에 따른 분류 : 극연강, 연강, 경강.
