Nimark® 300 은 열처리 하면 최소항복강도 1862 MPa 에 이르는
저탄소 Nickel 합금 마레이징강 (maraging steel) 입니다.

Nimark® 300 은 강재 내부의 불순물과 gas 를 제거해, 청정강으로 생산하는
VIM (Vacuum Induction Melt : 진공 유도 용해) + VAR (Vacuum Arc Remelt : 진공 아크 재용해)

방법으로 제조하며, 저탄소, Ni-Co-Mo 합금강입니다.
Nimark 300 은 AMS 6514, MIL-S-46850 Type 3, MIS-S-46850 Type 4,

ASTM A538 UNS S93120, GE S-400, GE S-100, Maraging 300
재질과 비교 가능하며, Nimark®300 보다 강도가 약간 적은

Nimark®250, Nimark®300 재질은 Carpenter Technology Corporation
Trademark 이며, 높은 notch ductility (노치 인성) 재질입니다.

※ Maraging (마르에이징)
Precipitation hardening treatment carried out on steels, the solution treatment
of which produces a soft martensite with a very low carbon content which
can subsequently be aged to give the required mechanical properties.

철강재에서 극저탄소 농도의 마르텐자이트로 용체화 처리 후 소정의
역학적 성질을 얻을 수 있도록 시효 처리를 실시하는 석출 경화 처리.

※ Aging treatment (시효 처리)
Heat treatment applied to a ferrous product after solution treatment
bring its properties to the required level.
Note : It consists of heating to and socking at one or more
specified temperature, followed by appropriate cooling

철강재가 필요한 성질을 가지도록 용체화 처리한 뒤에 적용하는 열처리.
이 처리는 가열한 뒤 정해진 하나 또는 두 온도에서 일정 시간 유지하는
균열화 처리 후 적절하게 냉각하는 공정으로 이루어집니다.

※ Vacuum melting (진공용해)
Melting in a vacuum to prevent contamination from air, as well as to
remove gases already dissolved in the metal ; the solidification may
also be carried out on a vacuum or at low pressure.
