두랄루민 (Duralumin) 알루미늄 합금은 가벼우면서도 강한
시효 경화에 의해 강도를 높인 합금입니다.

Alloy 2024, Alloy 7075 합금이 대표적인 두랄루민 합금으로 주로 항공기용으로
사용되고, 자동차 등 높은 비강도가 필요한 부문에 사용됩니다.

아래에는 주로 항공기 용도로 사용되는 압출재인 Round-Bar, Rod,
Shapes, Tube and Wire 규격을 AMS-QQ-A 규격을 비교했습니다.

※ Aging (시효 : 時效)
A phenomenon in which, after cooling or cold working, the properties
of steel (for example, hardness) are changed with a lapse of time.
This may sometimes be used as an operation intended only for age hardening.

시효 처리는 열처리 합금의 석출 경화 과정을 의미하며 열처리 온도에 따라
자연 시효 (Natural Aging)과 인공 시효 (Artificial Aging) 으로 구분되며
자연 시효 (Natural Aging)는 상온에서 일정 시간 유지하는 열처리이고
인공 시효 (Artificial Aging)는 석출물의 빠른 발현 진행 시키려고 하는
고온에서 일정 시간 유지하는 열처리를 의미합니다.

※ Extrusion (압출 : 押出)
