스테인레스 강종으로 고온용으로 사용됩니다.

A182 F51, A182 F60 두 재질 조직은
내식성이 뛰어난 조직인 오스테나이트 (austenite) 조직과

강도가 뛰어난 페라이트 (Ferrite) 조직이, 같이 존재합니다.
이런 특징이 이상 (Duplex) 스텐인레스의 대표적인 장점입니다.

항복강도가 450 MPa 수준으로, 탄소강과 비교하면
DIN-EN S355, S420 을 넘어, S460 수준의 강도입니다.

A182 F51, A182 F60 두 재질의 화학 원소와
기계적 성질을 비교하면, 거의 차이가 없습니다.

차이가 있는 화학 원소도, 서로 겹치는 부분이 있어,
F51 과 F52 는, Dual Spec인 경우가 많습니다.

A182 F51, A182 F60 두 재질은, Molybdenum 을
합금한 316L 보다도 우수한 내식성을 가지며

강도로 보면 오스테나이트계인 304, 316 보다
두 배에 이르는 강도 특성을 가집니다.
